There was a major fire up here last Thursday that virtually wiped out a small town, including the school, but the town is Hooper Bay. It's an isolated village off the Alaska road system. In fact, if the newspapers up here are to be believed, it's 500 miles from Hooper Bay to the nearest road. There is a major relief effort going on to help the townspeople....
